Established in 1949 to provide scholarships for women around the world to bag graduate degrees in the United States of America or Canada with a view of maintaining peace and harmony across the globe.

However, the scholarship doesn’t cover the full academic and personal expenses of successful candidates. They are expected to indicate additional financial resources to meet up with their expenses, and they are work scholarships, teaching assistantships, tuition waivers, study grants, and personal and family funds.

Eligible Countries

The program is designed for women from all countries that make up our planet except those that are citizens or permanent residents of the United States of America or Canada.

However, after graduating, the organizers expect that students will return to their home countries to utilize their education to make a positive impact and foster global peace.
